This project aims to revitalize the Hickson-Dupuis site in Verdun by introducing ecological restoration, improving neighborhood lifestyle and experimenting with a vertical mixed-use development. To free up the space needed to create a significant green mass, urban density was concentrated in a single point, leading to the proposal of three towers.
Hickson-Dupuis is situated in a context of small-scale factories, warehouses, garages and other automobile-related businesses. The block is located on the north-western edge of Verdun, at the transition point between residential and major public infrastructures. A study of the neighborhood's history and architecture was conducted alongside a consultation with residents on the community's current needs, leading to our proposal.
