(2025) experiential event design

in collaboration with Semya Salpetrier & Marie Lafont
Does Nuit Blanche really need another attraction?

Rather than adding to the commotion, Entracte proposes an anti-event: a sensory refuge at the crossroads of pedestrian flows, designed to withstand unpredictable nighttime and winter conditions. The experience offers visitors a moment of calm in the midst of the overstimulation.

Inspired by neuro-architecture and the design of calm, the installation acts directly on the senses to encourage social recovery. Visitors step aside briefly, then re-enter the city feeling restored and more attuned to others.

Located in the Sanguinet Garden, intimate yet accessible, the project unfolds through a logic of resource efficiency and reuse. Built from second hand materials, the parcours consists of a sequence of elements: an entrance portal, a headphone-based sound experience, a tea bar, beanbags arranged on the ground, and a stretched canopy where warm, dim lighting creates a soothing atmosphere that invites visitors to slow down.
