Inspired by the Montreal triplex style, courtepointe proposes a new kind of dense urban housing centered on community, sharing and urban agriculture. By designing a future-oriented townhouse, the project aims to promote the notion of degrowth. This approach is in tune with the roof-garden trend, which is becoming increasingly popular in Montreal. By integrating food production into the urban fabric and daily life, this socially-aware construction aims to raise the conscience of its residents.
Composed of intimate units, distinguished by different time scales, within a large communal space. On the exterior, the conceptual vision is materialized by a combination of transparencies, evoking the idea of the greenhouse house, and extruded, angular volumes that pay homage to typical Montreal balconies.
